Job Description

As an Architect Assistant at Clinicity, your primary responsibility will be to support the architectural team in designing, drafting, and executing modular hospital infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, biomedical engineers, and civil teams to ensure that design solutions meet healthcare compliance, functionality, and aesthetic requirements. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and working plans using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. You will be tasked with creating 2D and 3D models for hospital rooms, departments, and modular structures, as well as updating and maintaining architectural drawing sets based on client or regulatory feedback. In terms of technical support, you will be involved in site-specific hospital layout planning, zoning for various areas within the hospital, and coordinating architectural plans with MEP, civil, and biomedical teams. Additionally, you will help in preparing BOQs, material specifications, and area statements, as well as documentation required for client approvals and adherence to healthcare regulations like NABH and AERB compliance. Site coordination may be required, where you will visit project sites to capture measurements, review feasibility, and ensure drawing accuracy. You will also assist in tracking project progress against design milestones and quality benchmarks. When it comes to client interaction, you will participate in meetings with senior architects to understand design requirements and translate them into functional layouts. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing mood boards, renders, and sample books based on client preferences. The required skills for this role include proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and preferably Revit, as well as a good understanding of spatial planning, modular structures, and healthcare design standards. Strong communication, teamwork, visualization, and presentation abilities are essential, along with basic knowledge of medical equipment dimensions and space requirements. Being detail-oriented and organized is also crucial. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a Diploma in Architecture from a recognized institute. Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience in hospital, healthcare, or modular infrastructure design are preferred. Preferred experience includes exposure to healthcare architecture or prefabricated/modular building design, as well as internship or academic project experience related to medical or institutional buildings. You can expect a work environment that involves a hybrid coordination between office-based design work and on-site observation when required. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as civil, biomedical, and service teams is a key aspect of the work environment. This is a full-time position that offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, a morning shift schedule, and performance bonuses. The work location is in person.,
