What Youll Be Doing Architecting for Scale: Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems. What You Need to Bring Battle-Tested Experience: 4-6 years of engineering experience solving real-world scaling challenges. Tech Mastery: Proficiency in Go, Python, Postgres, Kubernetes, Kafka you know these tech inside out. Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. System Design Savvy: You can design for scale, reliability, and efficiency with your eyes closed (but, you know, please keep them open). Tier-1 Engineering Background: A degree from a top-tier engineering college (or equivalent battle scars from real-world challenges). Bonus Points If You: Have experience with event-driven architectures and high-throughput systems. Have built and maintained large-scale distributed systems. Think in terms of trade-offs and not just "best practices." Prior experience of working in an early stage startup.

Your Responsibilities: Driving the capability building for resiliency testing targeted toward modernization initiatives, common capabilities framework, reference architectures Working closely with application development, IT Architecture, Application Resiliency Foundation and other key partners ensuring end-to-end Application resiliency while upholding ETE policy, procedures and standards Developing and supporting the ETE Resiliency services / work such as the Resiliency Test Scorecard, Failure Mode Analysis, Test Scenarios Improving, setting the direction for the resiliency test automation framework, publishing reusable artifacts to the Developer Marketplace Capture technical requirements, assessing capabilities and mapping to organizational resiliency principles to determine resiliency characteristics of applications. Chip in to strategy discussions and decisions on overall application design and best approach for implementing cloud, and on premises solutions. Focus on continuous improvement practices as the need arises to meet system resiliency imperatives. Define high availability and resilience standards and guidelines for embracing technologies from AWS and other service providers. Mitigates risk by following established procedures and supervising controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. Experience: 7 + Years Location: Hyderabad Additional Information Talents Needed for Success: Minimum of 7 years of related experience Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred and/or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years experience in testing / architecting and delivering cloud-based solutions Must have expertise with industry patterns, chaos engineering methodologies, and techniques across the disaster recovery subject areas Specialist in highly available architecture and solution implementation Chaos Engineering / Resiliency Testing experience for distributed applications using tools like Gremlin or Cavisson NetHavoc Enterprise Java technologies, tools and system architectures; Splunk and application monitoring tooling such as Dynatrace / AppDynamics

Being in a senior-most technical position, responsible for architecture, design, code, and delivery of multiple highly scalable systems Mentor/coach other engineers to help them perform at their best by performing code/design reviews, and providing all the technical directions Being hands-on and curious about the technology, get into the ground-level technical details/depth whenever required Work with other engineering teams cross-functional teams to address all the technical dependencies Actively participate in interviewing hiring the top talent Innovate and suggest industry best practices, and participate in internal/external technical presentations What we need: 15 or more years of industry experience working with product companies Strong CS fundamentals with an excellent track record of architecting, designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable systems Passionate about writing code and code/design reviews, who believe in building high-quality systems Experience in distributed systems at the cloud scale, microservices, large-scale web applications, and cloud technologies Startup experience and SaaS product development experience are added advantages Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude/Self-starter
