Architect ( UK project experience )

Role Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Architects or Architectural Technologists to support our UK-based clients and design teams. This role involves working on planning drawings, technical detailing, and building regulation documentation for residential and conversion projects. The ideal candidate must have prior UK project experience and the ability to integrate seamlessly into a remote design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings for planning, building control, and construction phases.
• Produce building regulation compliance packages for UK projects.
• Develop layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings adhering to UK standards.
• Work closely with UK-based project managers and consultants to ensure seamless design delivery.
• Handle both conversion and new-build residential properties, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations.
• Use Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools for accurate and efficient documentation.
• Maintain quality standards and meet project deadlines in a remote collaboration setting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent).
• 3-4 years of professional experience in architectural detailing, preferably in residential projects.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, RIBA stages, and BIM practices.
• Demonstrated ability to produce building control packages for UK projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience with UK-based clients or architectural firms.
• Familiarity with UK planning application processes.
• CIAT chartership or working towards it (desirable but not essential).
• RIBA Part I/II qualification or having studied/worked in the UK is a plus.
