Python API Lead_ 6 to 14 Years_ Pune/Hyderabad/Chennai/ Bangalore/ Mumbai
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack API Integration with strong experience in API, Integration, Python, AWS and exposure to React. The ideal candidate will have experience in API security, including OAuth2, OpenID, and Okta, and a deep understanding of backend services, particularly with DynamoDB and AWS Lambda. About The Role

Develop high-performance RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

Lead the design and deployment of serverless and microservice-based solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS)

Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK

Integrate third-party services securely and efficiently

Optimize backend systems for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency

Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline

Monitor and troubleshoot production systems

Enforce cloud security best practices and IAM policies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and QA

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Primary Skills

Python, FastAPI Mandatory

AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, GitHub nice to have

Full-Stack API Integration Lead with Architectural mindset

Ideal candidate to have proficiency on API, Integration, Python, AWS and exposure to React

Experience with API security protocols (OAuth2, OpenID, Okta)

Familiarity with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and deployment processes

Experience guiding teams, solution-oriented mindset, and architecture capabilities.

Proficient in GitHub and build/deployment tools.

Secondary Skills

Experience with Tailwind CSS and PostCSS.
