Architect

Responsibilities-

• Independently prepare architectural and structural designs by NBC, IS standards, and applicable local regulations.
• Develop and produce submission drawings for various regulatory departments.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, site teams, and external third-party consultants.
• Draft detailed Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), capturing all discussion points raised by stakeholders during both the design development and post-tender stages.
• Review and verify "as-built" drawings against the originally approved design documentation.
• Occasionally visit construction sites for coordination, inspection, and project alignment purposes.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and proficiency in BIM tools and related design software.
• Apply sound numerical skills in the preparation and review of design documentation.
• Maintain project records and documentation in compliance with ISO standards and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) guidelines.
• Analyze tender documents, identifying and highlighting any special conditions or requirements.
• Oversee the work of CAD operators and ensure coordination with Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) teams for integrated project delivery.

Necessary Skill / Experience

• Strong understanding of industrial construction practices and principles of sustainable design.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is preferred and considered an added advantage.
• Proven experience in liaising with government authorities for approvals and compliance.
• Hands-on experience in building faade design and interior design, with awareness of the latest trends and innovations.
• Experience working on steel structure buildings, including factories and warehouses.
• Knowledge and practical application of energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable design will be a significant value addition.
• Proficient in preparing and delivering presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Multilingual proficiency in Tamil, English, and Hindi is essential.
• Bachelors degree in architecture with valid membership in the Council of Architecture.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Candidates with prior experience in reputed companies such as L&T, TCE, or Sterling & Wilson will be given preference.
