Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure all plans conform to applicable regulations such as:
• Development Control Regulations (DCR)
• Building Byelaws
• National Building Code (NBC)
• Environmental norms (if applicable)
• Ensure updates and modifications to laws and regulations are incorporated into project planning.
• Documentation & Submissions:
• Prepare and submit architectural drawings and related documentation for approval.
• Coordinate with surveyors, legal advisors, and structural consultants to ensure all required documents are in place.
• Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, correspondence, and compliance reports.
• Coordination & Communication:
• Liaise between architectural/design team, consultants, and government departments.
• Provide regular updates to the project team and clients regarding approval status and risks.
• lanning & Tracking:
• Plan and schedule timelines for submission and approval processes.
• Track the status of each approval and anticipate bottlenecks or delays.
• Ensure timely renewals of approvals or NOCs if required.
• - 3+ years of experience in architectural liaisoning with a proven track record in managing approvals for residential, & layout projects.
• - Strong understanding of local building by-laws, DCR (Development Control Regulations), and environmental compliance.
• - Proficiency in BPMS, PRE DCR ,AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.

Secondary responsibility

• Develop and present design concepts that meet client needs and comply with zoning and building regulations.
• Produce detailed blueprints, drawings, and 3D models using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and material specifications.
• Stay current with industry trends, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

• good Knowledge of Regulations
• BPMS, Softech similar software, pr dcr.
