Architect Head

The Architect Head is responsible for leading the architectural design team, developing creative and practical design solutions, and ensuring all architectural aspects of a project meet regulatory, aesthetic, and functional standards. This role oversees concept design to project completion and ensures coordination with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership

  
  
• Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of architectural designs across all projects.
  
• Review and finalize master plans, floor layouts, elevation concepts, and faade details.
  
• Ensure architectural integrity, functionality, and aesthetic value in all designs.
  

• Project Management

  
  
• Coordinate with project managers, civil, MEP, interior teams, and external consultants to ensure smooth execution.
  
• Monitor design implementation at site to maintain compliance with approved drawings.
  
• Oversee architectural timelines, budgeting, and quality control for all ongoing projects.
  

• Team Leadership

  
  
• Supervise and mentor junior architects, drafters, and design interns.
  
• Assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure continuous skill development within the team.
  

• Client & Consultant Coordination

  
  
• Understand client requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  
• Liaise with external consultants (landscape, structural, MEP) and local authorities for plan approvals.
  

• Compliance & Documentation

  
  
• Ensure all architectural plans comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  
• Oversee preparation of working drawings, statutory drawings (CMDA, DTCP), and construction documentation.
  

Key Skills Required:

• Strong conceptual and technical design abilities
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other relevant software
  
• In-depth knowledge of local bye-laws, building regulations, and materials
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch)
  
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in residential/commercial architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
