Timing - 10 am -6 pm and 6 pm -1 am Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and experienced Bakery Chef to prepare a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to create both classic and innovative recipes that meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake fresh breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, and other bakery products. Follow standard recipes or create new recipes with approval. Measure and mix ingredients accurately using appropriate tools and equipment. Monitor baking temperatures, baking times, and product quality. Decorate and finish cakes, pastries, and desserts as per customer or menu requirements. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area according to food safety standards. Manage inventory of ingredients and baking supplies; place orders when needed. Train and supervise junior bakers or assistants if required. Stay updated with trends in baking and suggest new items to the menu. Maintain daily production logs and minimize wastage. Requirements: Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role. Knowledge of bakery equipment, ingredients, and baking techniques. Creativity and a good eye for design and detail in decoration. Ability to work early mornings or flexible shifts as required. Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices. Physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours. Preferred Qualifications: Degree or certification in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry is preferred. Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial bakery is a plus. Knowledge of dietary and allergy-friendly baking (gluten-free, vegan, etc.) is advantageous.
