Working in a collaborative environment with other talented individuals, you will be responsible for maintaining or creating application code using JavaScript and ArcGIS Services. This will involve utilizing technologies such as C#, CSS, AJAX, Dojo, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Google Maps, Python, and .NET Core. Additionally, you will work with spatial data through mapping software like ArcGIS Pro and have experience with JavaScript UI frameworks. Your role will also focus on restructuring large scale JavaScript applications, GIS/Spatial development beyond address points on Google Maps, and utilizing Google Maps API and ESRI API. Strong UX skills, particularly for mobile, will be advantageous. Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment environments, and cloud-based application development, deployment, and operations is preferred. Collaborating with other developers, you will help promote geospatial solutions and embed GIS functionality to enhance customer workflows. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 6 years of related GIS application development experience. A Master's degree is preferred, although a Bachelor's degree with equivalent work experience and relevant certifications will also be considered. You should possess the ability to manipulate, extract, locate, and analyze spatial data using ESRI tools. Proficiency in developing apps and tools to present GIS data on websites, storing vector and raster data types in a relational database management system, and producing fully functional programs with clean, testable, scalable code is essential. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and storing geographical data, geocoding data using various tools, designing and publishing dashboards including time-enabled heat maps, and implementing systems to update and maintain data. Your experience in developing Choropleth-styled maps to show trends over time will be an asset to the team.
