Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical AR Caller, located in Chennai. The AR Callert will be responsible for processing patient data, including medical records, treatment records, and insurance information. Day-to-day tasks include accurate coding of services using ICD-10, preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies, handling insurance denials, verifying insurance eligibility, Obtaining Authorization and ensuring compliance with Medicare and other insurance regulations. The role also involves working closely with healthcare providers and patients to resolve billing issues and improve the efficiency of the billing process. Qualifications Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding Experience in handling Insurance claims and Denials Familiarity with CMS regulations along with Commercial payors. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities): Make consistent follow-up calls to insurance companies regarding unpaid or underpaid claims. Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Denial documents to determine the next course of action. Document all follow-up activities accurately within the practice management system (PMS). Work closely with medical practice to resolve complex billing issues. Maintain high productivity standards while ensuring high accuracy in claim status updates. What You'll Bring (Requirements): Experience: 2–3 years of solid, hands-on experience as an AR Caller in a US Medical Billing/RCM environment.
