As a Site Supervisor at ARC Buildcon, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to the architectural plans, specifications, and schedule. You'll act as the primary liaison between the architect, project managers, subcontractors, and the on-site workforce, driving effective communication and coordination to achieve project goals. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of construction processes, and a commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight: Supervise and manage daily construction activities to ensure they align with project plans, specifications, and established timelines. Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Team and Subcontractor Management: Supervise, train, and guide on-site workers and subcontractors, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues or conflicts. Quality Control: Conduct frequent inspections to assess progress and ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and building codes. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, material deliveries, and labor hours. Provide regular updates to the architect and project managers. Logistics and Materials: Coordinate and schedule the delivery of materials, equipment, and resources. Monitor inventory and manage site logistics to ensure a smooth workflow. Communication: Act as the main point of contact for the architect, clients, and other stakeholders, addressing questions, providing updates, and ensuring a clear flow of information. Qualifications and Skills Experience: Proven experience as a site supervisor or in a similar construction management role, ideally with a focus on architectural projects. Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications is essential. Leadership: Excellent leadership and people management skills to effectively supervise and motivate the on-site team. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify issues quickly, think critically, and implement effective solutions under pressure. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Education: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is often preferred. Relevant certifications in safety or project management are also beneficial.
