Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Unity Developer to join our team on a freelance, contract basis. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional Unity development experience and a portfolio of published games that demonstrates both technical expertise and creative execution. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize gameplay features in Unity. Collaborate with designers, artists, and fellow developers to translate game concepts into polished gameplay. Write efficient, maintainable C# code that meets production standards. Debug, profile, and resolve performance issues across different platforms. Ensure smooth deployment and scalability of games on PC, mobile, or console. Contribute ideas to enhance gameplay, user experience, and overall project quality. Requirements 3–5 years of hands-on Unity development experience . Proven portfolio of published games (must share links to portfolio, app stores, or gameplay demos). Proficiency in C# and Unity (2D/3D) . Strong grasp of game physics, UI systems, animations, and performance optimization. Experience with Git or other version control systems. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality output. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with multiplayer or networked game systems. Familiarity with console publishing workflows. Knowledge of shaders, VFX, or advanced animation systems. Passion for indie game design, storytelling, and player experience.
