You are invited to apply for the position of Seismic Data Loader (Petrel) at Ridik Consulting Private Limited for our client location in India. We are looking for individuals with 7 to 10 years of experience in the field. As a Seismic Data Loader, you will be responsible for managing Upstream Oil & Gas Seismic Data Exploration data. Your role will require you to be well-versed in various seismic data storage formats such as Seg-Y, Seg-D, and Seg-P. You should be proficient in working with different co-ordinate systems (CRS & Datums) in Petrel/Kingdom. Your key responsibilities will include skills in Seg-y data loading (3D/2D) through direct load, importing/exporting Seg-Y files, and conditioning data in Petrel/ZGY data loading. Additionally, you will be involved in Petrel project synchronization, transferring surveys/cubes to studio, and handling different navigation data formats. It is essential for you to have a solid understanding of the basics of map projection in ArcMap and be familiar with working with different co-ordinate systems in ArcGIS. Knowledge about Inline/Xline Byte locations in headers will be an added advantage for this role.
