Job Description: Accounts Receivable and Payable AccountantPosition: Accounts Receivable and Payable Accountant Full time Location: Kochi (Work from Office) Department: Finance/Accounting Remuneration: Based on experience and skillset matching with industry standardsOffice timings: Monday to Friday; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Holidays as per Indian Calendar) Job Summary:The Accounts Receivable and Payable Accountant is responsible for managing both the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions within the organization. This role mainly involves the followingCreate and maintain client / vendor profiles in SAP.Process and manage all incoming payments, ensuring timely and accurate application to client accounts.Process EFT payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Generate and distribute invoices and statements to clients.Generate remittance advice and upload supporting documents.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.Process internal collections and resolve payment discrepancies.Downloading bank statements, conducting reconciliation and assisting in resolving discrepanciesEntering payments and other data entry in Insol (Software relating to Insolvency)Generate internal financial reports as required.Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.Assist with internal and external audits as needed.Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and payable roles.Skills:Proficiency in SAP.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
