As an experienced Team Lead with a mid-size organization, you have taken charge of the financial health of your company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements in India and US. **Key Roles & Responsibilities:** - Supporting Book Keeping, MIS Reporting & AR/AP Activities (US Accounting) - Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and timely reporting of all monthly financial information - Supporting corporate budget and forecasting activities - Monitoring and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy - Advising team members regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions - Working with the company auditor to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit - Supervising the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met - Ensuring strict compliance with the outlined processes and standards and following industry best practices - Taking ownership of your own work as well as of your team and being accountable for meeting the obligations of the company - Responsible for staff scheduling including work assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, backup for absent employees - Providing effective, constructive, and timely feedback to your team, setting the bar and helping your teams to meet and/or exceed it - Providing training to new and existing staff as needed - Working with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitoring and advising on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff **Experience and Skills:** *Minimum* - Good knowledge of US GAAP, accounting procedures, taxation, and other statutory and legal matters enabling you to perform core accounting and finance functions effectively - Excellent communication skills (written and oral), relationship-building skills, and ability to lead and develop others - Hands-on experience in QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office *Preferred* - Immediate Joiner, Qualified/Semi Qualified CA/CMA - Experience in IT/Service Sector - Knowledge in US & Indian Taxes **Minimum Qualifications:** - Overall, 4 to 7 years of experience in finance/accounts with 2-3 years of People Management experience - Having a strong financial and accounting background with a passion for helping teams get to the next level - Commerce Graduate, preferably Qualified/Semi-Qualified CA/CMA,
