Title: Commissioning Incharge Location: Rihand Contract: FTC for 2 yrs Introduction: Join our team as an Commissioning Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our EPC Power Projects . Job Description Develop a comprehensive commissioning plan outlining the sequence of activities required for the successful start-up of the FGD system. Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to align commissioning activities with project milestones. Lead and manage a commissioning team, ensuring that each team member understands their roles and responsibilities. Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the commissioning process. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the commissioning process and develop mitigation strategies. Work closely with safety personnel to ensure all commissioning activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Develop and review commissioning procedures for each system and subsystem of the FGD plant. Ensure that commissioning activities are aligned with design specifications and regulatory requirements. Oversee the testing and verification of FGD equipment, instruments, and control systems. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the delivery and installation of components that meet the required specifications. Lead troubleshooting efforts during the commissioning phase to identify and address any issues that may arise. Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance. Maintain comprehensive documentation of commissioning activities, test results, and any modifications made to the system. Prepare reports for project stakeholders, providing updates on commissioning progress and highlighting any issues or concerns. Develop and conduct training programs for operations and maintenance personnel to ensure a smooth transition from commissioning to full-scale operation. Ensure that all commissioning activities comply with environmental regulations, safety standards, and other applicable laws. Implement quality assurance processes to verify that the FGD system meets performance specifications and environmental standards. Maintain effective communication with project manager, engineers, vendors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on commissioning progress and address any concerns. Mechanical Degree above 60% (bachelor/ master). Appropriate experience in power plant structure construction and FGD structure Construction works. Good proficiency in English. Experience 12+ years of experience in the field of power plant construction and FGD project. Executed EPC Projects as commissioning Head for Coal fired Power projects and FGD project. Specific Skills Knowledge of FGD systems from concept to commissioning with project scope. Presentation for work progress. Active and positive in solving problems. Project monitoring and review of project schedule. Motivate and well-aimed promotion of ideas and concepts. High degree of safety and quality works awareness.

Qualifications: Full time Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed college/University. Experience in Erection, Installation, Commissioning Experience in working for commissioning of AQCS equipment i.e ESP/ FGD /SCR would be added advantage . The candidate shall possess good knowledge on understanding all the components of Power plant AQCS system & Equipment i.e Pump, Fan, Absorber, Tank, Ball mill, Belt filter, Material handling, Chimney and auxiliary equipment. Responsibilities: Experience in working for commissioning of AQCS equipment i.e ESP/ FGD /SCR would be added advantage, He will be reporting to the Commissioning Manager. Key Tech Skills and Responsibilities: Should be conversant on scope study and contract document related to project requirements, Should Understand schedule & WBS-for the Project execution, To co-ordinate With project scheduler for the detailed project commissioning schedule Should maintain close coordination with Process/Engineering, Project management, Contracts team, site management and sub-contractors. Accountable for Commissioning of FGD plant & pre commissioning of sub system/equipment associated with FGD plant. Ensure Industry safe practice & processes are in place & complied with. Co-coordinating testing and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentations. Supported all commissioning and start-up activities. Monitoring progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment. Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of all equipment. Make sure all systems are designed, installed, tested, operated, & maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner or final client. Highlighting & resolving all punch points. Experience : 6-10 Years, B tech/BE Mechanical Engineering Emission testing exp, boiler performance, CEMS System design and certification exp, boiler combustion firing systems and calculations, knowledge of PC/ CFB/Stoker boilers and HRSG, Familiar with draft system design. Post combustion emissions control. Knowledge of electrostatic precipitators, PJFF, SCR, SNCR, dry/wet FGD system. Knowledge of the thermal power plant, Operational exp of power plants, boiler and auxiliary systems, AQCS System Design and CEMS Certification.
