Job Title- Production / PPC (Production Planning & Control) Reports To- Operation / Production Manager Responsible For - Production / PPC (Production Planning & Control) Main Purpose - To ensure efficient production planning, scheduling, and coordination of sheet metal manufacturing operations to achieve on-time delivery, optimum resource utilization, and minimum production downtime. Main Elements: -Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production plans. - Coordinate with design, purchase, and production teams. - Create machine loading and manpower schedules. - Update production trackers, WIP reports, and delivery timelines. - Prepare BOMs and coordinate material needs with procurement. - Monitor inventory and raise requisitions to avoid stockouts. - Optimize machine, manpower, and shift utilization. - Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Design, and Dispatch teams. - Align with customers on delivery schedules and changes. - Conduct daily production review meetings and follow-ups. - Maintain MIS reports for production, WIP, OEE, rejection, and deliveries. - Track actual vs. planned targets and prepare variance reports. - Support ISO/IATF documentation and audits. Extent of Authority - As per company requirement based on roll. Educational Requirements Any Specific Skills set requirement. - Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production Engineering. - 25 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing industry. - Experience with PPC, production scheduling, and resource planning preferred. - Knowledge of ERP software will be an added advantage. Experience Needed 2-5 years Preferable immediate joiners only.
