In this role the Demand Planner%27s responsibility is to develop strong statistical models and processes that support development of divisional demand plans executing an Integrated Business Planning process with finance, purchasing, production and deployment of product. Responsibilities . Understand variability of product categories and develops robust set of corresponding statistical models . Develops statistical processes to support development of long range plans . Develop demand plans at the division, product, and location level . Conducts trend analyses and facilitates discussions with marketing and sales to drive consensus . Facilitates demand review and consensus meetings and supports development of Sales and Operations Planning decks . Utilizes accuracy and bias results to improve site level forecasts . Analyzes and reviews the divisional demand plans with Finance, Marketing and Sales . Ensures demand alignment with long term strategic plans . Provide optimization of costs and service in support of company profitability plans. . Strong knowledge of demand planning process and S&OP . Should have functional experience in forecasting tools & statistical forecasting techniques . Strong Supply Chain analytical capabilities with skills in Demand Forecasting and Inventory Planning . Good statistical knowledge . Development of demand planning response to customer / product segmentation to maintain and/or improve forecast accuracy . Demand Sensing . Add impacts of seasonal and LTO (limited time offer) demand to the forecast based on the inputs received from the business . Experience in managing end of life cycle and absolute inventory . Excellent verbal and written communication Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications . Bachelor&rsquos or master&rsquos degree in degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or related field, with 3+ years of statistical forecasting and supply chain experience SAP or other ERP/APS software experience . Effective interpersonal and verbal/oral skills . Self-starter with independent work ethic and react quickly to priorities. . 2+- 8 years (per job grade) experience in Demand Planning . Professional certification preferred. (e.g., APICS) . Knowledge of any of the ERP & Planning systems Blue Yonder. . Statistical Forecasting and Model development . Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution and customer service . Strong written, interpersonal and presentation skills . Knowledge of Sales and Marketing functions preferred . Experience in Integrated Business Planning . Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint (Access preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel required . Strong Administrative skills and attention to detail . SAP or related systems experience preferred . Experience with advanced ERP planning systems (BW, SAP, APO) preferred Preferred Qualifications/ Skills . Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Supply Planning & Central MRP In this role, you will be part of the Supply Planning & Central MRP team and would be independently working to Model building and Providing safety stock norms for Finished Goods, Raw & Packaging Materials. Responsibilities . Develop & maintain capacity plans, production schedules, and/or finite schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives. . Schedule finished goods production for each assigned product group. Supply recommendations are based upon scheduling parameters and system settings that are developed and maintained to support sales goals, inventory financial targets, as well as minimizing the age of the product when shipped to a customer. . Export Planning of Finished Goods utilizing Supply & Demand Planning books on APO. Shipment tracking and update systems with the latest information. . Generate various reports & dashboards for key figures like - Business Waste (Slow Moving Obsolete Inventory, WORR & MLOR report), Stocks In transit report, Semi-Finished (Mix) stocks report, FG Shortage report, COGI Report, Open PO Report, etc. . Handle and control finished goods inventories for assigned items to achieve the company%27s financial targets along with utilizing old age reports to resolve action required to initiate salvage sale or disposal of the product. . Raw & Packaging material planning based on FG production plans engage with suppliers, logistics, warehouse & procurement to manage smooth flow & availability of materials. . Raw & Packaging material reports - Open PO, Contract Coverage, Source List, MSTN, PO reschedules, material forecast, RPM shortage tracker, etc. . Initiate product listing/delisting/withdrawal in conjunction with Marketing, Demand & Supply Planning teams. . Maintain the data integrity of the material planning systems. . Inventory Analysis - Over Stocked, ABC, Slow Moving, Obsolete, etc. . Inventory Reconciliation and manually intervene to adjust for variances or system errors. . Analyze & manage Inventory Ageing, Best Before & Expiry dates, Slow Moving Inventory, Obsolete Inventory. . Analyze & manage Write-offs for Obsoletes, Expired, and Claims Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum qualifications . Graduate in Operations, Supply Chain Management / Engineering / Business or related field with an understanding of applications such as SAP or other ERP/APS software experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required. . Knowledge of SAP MM module, SAP APO, Power BI, Anaplan, Kinxasis, etc. / APICS Certifications - CPIM . Experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, supply or operations planning, raw material planning is helpful. Preferred qualifications . Excellent presentation skills. . Excellent verbal and written communication. . Good Influencing, Interpersonal and Analytical skills. . Good understanding of supply chain and supply planning business drivers, organization structures, and key metrics. .
