Role Overview: As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your primary focus will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. You will utilize your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements, consult with users, recommend programming solutions, analyze applications for vulnerabilities, and conduct testing and debugging. Additionally, you will serve as an advisor to new analysts, identify problems, make evaluative judgments, and implement solutions with a limited level of direct supervision. It is essential to demonstrate clear communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure while managing deadlines and unexpected changes. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs - Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities - Identify necessary system enhancements and recommend programming solutions - Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and conduct testing and debugging - Serve as an advisor to new analysts, identify problems, and implement solutions with limited direct supervision - Demonstrate clear communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work under pressure Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Technical proficiency in Java programming language - Experience with Spring, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, AWS, Azure, KAFKA, MQ, Angular, Reactive, MongoDB, Oracle, SOLACE, DEVOPS (CI/CD), Jenkins, Agile Principles, databases, SQL, and Git version control systems Please note that this job description provides an overview of the work performed, and other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
