Description
As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for supporting initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. You will work closely with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach. Additionally, you will conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments, reporting issues and making recommendations for solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting UAT process and product rollout into production - Designing and implementing appropriate scripts/plans for application testing - Conducting process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments - Ensuring project standards and procedures are documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle - Monitoring products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures - Documenting findings, performing root cause analyses, and providing recommended improvements - Verifying traceability in project work products - Gathering, maintaining, and creating reports on quality metrics - Providing informal guidance to new team members - Performing other duties and functions as assigned Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred - Experience in requirement reviews and ability to identify, communicate, and document discrepancies - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Understanding of Quality Processes - Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities - Proven ability to work to deadlines - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Experience in defining, designing, and executing test cases Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of work provided by yourself and others, impacting your own team and closely related work teams.
