Job Description

Job Title: Apps

Installation & Configuration:

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle E-Business Suite (11i, R12.1, R12.2) and Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
Set up and manage RAC, Data Guard, and Oracle Exadata environments.

Maintenance & Support:

Perform patching, cloning, backup, and recovery operations.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across application, database, and concurrent manager tiers.
Manage SRs with Oracle Support and ensure timely resolution.

Automation & Scripting:

Develop and maintain Shell, Perl, and PL/SQL scripts for automation, monitoring, and reporting.

Security & Compliance:

Implement and enforce database security policies.
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and audit requirements.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of DBAs.
Define and enforce database standards and best practices.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams.

Performance Tuning:

Optimize SQL queries, database parameters, and application performance.
Conduct capacity planning and performance benchmarking.

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with at least 4 years in Oracle Apps DBA roles.
Expertise in Oracle EBS architecture, AD utilities (adpatch, adop, adadmin), and cloning procedures .
Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
Excellent scripting skills (Shell, Perl, PL/SQL).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
