Job Title: Senior SQL Server DBA + Application DBA Overview: This role is responsible for administering Microsoft SQL Servers, including implementation, performance tuning, maintenance, backup/recovery, security, auditing, production support, and architecting technical solutions. This role also involves designing, maintaining, and securing databases to support application performance, business continuity, and user access needs. Key Responsibilities: Database Management : Architect, design, deploy, and maintain SQL databases and clusters. Ensure performance, availability, and security. Performance Optimization : Optimize performance through query tuning, indexing, and configuration. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. High Availability & Disaster Recovery : Implement HA/DR solutions using Always On, Replication, Log shipping, etc. Test disaster recovery and data restoration processes. Security & Compliance : Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and security protocols. Manage user access and permissions. Monitoring & Maintenance : Proactively monitor database systems, automate routine tasks, and maintain documentation. Support & Collaboration : Provide leadership in business recovery strategies, support developers and users, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions Skills & Qualifications: Experience : 8+ years as a DBA with MS SQL Server, including senior-level roles. 5+ years as an application DBA is a must. Technical Skills : Performance tuning, backups, restores, recovery models, HA/DR options, Active Directory, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server Monitoring tools (SQL Sentry a plus), Windows PowerShell, Splunk. Knowledge of AWS services Education : Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field. Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Technical Experience:The candidate should have 3-6 years of experience as SQL Server DBA, Azure SQL, and Azure DBs.Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 and T-SQL programming.Proven experience in database performance tuning and query optimization.Experience with SQL Profiler, Query Store, Extended Events, and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs).Experience in index strategy, statistics maintenance, and execution plan analysis.Familiarity with database architecture concepts including partitioning, replication, and high availability (Always On, Log Shipping, etc.).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Web Node (Load Balance Web Nodes, DNS/Network Configuration) Forms Node (Load Balance Forms Nodes, Servlets), Parallel Concurrent Processing (Distribute load), Adding an EBS Node in a Shared Application Tier Filesystem • Backup and Recovery using RMAN and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance - Monitor, Implement B&R performance improvements • Capacity management, recommendations, and managing implementation • Configure and monitor Database and Application targets using Oracle Enterprise Manager and custom script The ideal candidate should have: • Bachelor's degree or masters degree in Engineering or equivalent. • 6+ years of experience in managing and delivering solutions using Oracle Database and Middleware, E-Business site products. • Hands-on experience with Scripting, Automation using high-level languages such as Python with strong Object-Oriented concepts. • Working Knowledge on DevOps, focusing on Infrastructure Automation and Enhancement using any Orchestrator tools • Effective verbal and written communication skills
