Possessing Sourcing Certification would be desirable. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential along with strong data management and analysis skills. You should also have experience in Sourcing and Contract Management, stakeholder management, and knowledge of control, risk, and governance processes. A thorough understanding of procurement structure, policies, and procedures is required, along with experience in PU and Coupa system working and spend analytics. Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications: - Graduate in Engineering - Experience working within Financial Services, Shared Services Sourcing Team Location: Noida Purpose of the Role: The primary objective of this role is to optimize and address Barclays" 3rd party spend requirements by defining, developing, and implementing approaches for relevant spend categories and requirements. This will involve close collaboration with the business and executing strategic sourcing and buying channel development/optimization. Accountabilities: - Profile spend in category area and develop an understanding of business strategy, requirements, cost levers, and opportunities. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, develop requests for proposal, and ensure sourcing activities align with the bank's needs and priorities. - Plan and execute sourcing events including RFP/ RFXs, negotiations, and monitoring controls and compliance requirements. - Develop, implement, and operate policies and procedures for sourcing activities aligned with relevant compliance and regulation. - Identify and deliver change opportunities to improve effectiveness, control, and efficiency of sourcing processes. - Stay updated on industry trends related to sourcing and category management. Analyst Expectations: - Perform activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement. - Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating team resources. - Partner with other functions and business areas, taking responsibility for end results of a team's operational processing and activities. - Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to. - Demonstrate understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the organization's objectives. - Resolve problems and guide team members, acting as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function.
