Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Application Support Specialist to maintain and support various applications, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will manage user access, monitor processes, and provide support for multiple applications, including Spotfire, Azure Pipelines, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and support applications, focusing on optimal performance and reliability.

Oversee and manage user access and permissions within applications, ensuring secure and appropriate access levels.

Regularly monitor nightly run processes to ensure smooth operations and timely identification of any issues.

Maintain and support Spotfire reports to meet business needs, ensuring accurate and insightful data representation.

Manage and support user access for Spotfire, ensuring users have the necessary permissions to perform their tasks.

Oversee the performance and load management of the Spotfire server to maintain optimal system functionality and efficiency.

Azure Pipelines, ensuring smooth operation

Support Power BI reports, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and meet business requirements.

Manage user access for Power BI, ensuring secure and appropriate access for all users.

Address and resolve production support issues promptly, keeping IT management and business stakeholders informed about the status and resolution of issues.

Provide consistent and regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.

Proactively identify potential obstacles and seek assistance in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery of projects and tasks.

Demonstrate technical expertise, thoroughness, and accuracy in all assignments, ensuring high-quality outputs.

Ensure that all applications, operations, standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to, maintaining compliance and best practices across all activities.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in application support and management.

Azure Pipelines, and Power BI.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear status updates.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
