Project Role :Application Support Engineer

Project Role Description :Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications and systems. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and services, all while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional support to users and stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Assist in the documentation of processes and solutions to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.

Engage with users to gather feedback and understand their needs, ensuring that support services are aligned with business requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in PeopleSoft PeopleTools.

Strong understanding of application support methodologies and best practices.

Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software issues in a timely manner.

Familiarity with database management and SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PeopleSoft PeopleTools.

This position is based at our Kolkata office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
Qualification 15 years full time education
