Application Specialist - Veeva

The Application Specialist (Veeva) plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Clinical Systems/ IT applications within the GxP categorization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring optimal system performance, managing system enhancements, and leading the resolution of L2/L3 tickets. Additionally, you will mentor and assist Application Analysts in resolving L1 tickets to meet defined KPI's and SLA's. Providing training and technical support to clinical users, Application Analysts, and contributing to the review and maintenance of processes, tools, and standards are also key aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in a related field such as computer science, information technology, or information systems. Experience in supporting clinical trial systems in the CRO and/or pharmaceutical industry will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, effective troubleshooting abilities, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing L2/L3 support for clinical and IT systems with GxP categorization, managing user access and roles, conducting training for users across different regions, and acting as the primary liaison with vendors and Novotech IT for maintenance changes and upgrades. You will lead and participate in UAT testing, serve as a system administrator, provide post-production end-user support, and report on the status of clinical IT systems/applications to system owners and senior management. Additionally, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of user instructions.
