Application Security Engineer

As an Application Security Engineer at Consulting HR Solution, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of applications developed by our clients in Mumbai. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing source code to identify security flaws, coding errors, and compliance issues. - Performing static analysis and providing remediation recommendations. - Validating fixes to ensure vulnerabilities are resolved without introducing new risks. - Analyzing third-party libraries/dependencies for vulnerabilities and licensing risks. - Recommending secure versions and managing component upgrades. - Supporting the integration of security tools into CI/CD pipelines. - Assisting in risk assessment, threat modeling, and audit compliance. - Collaborating with development and security teams to enhance code quality and safety. - Documenting findings and communicating clearly to stakeholders. - Staying updated on emerging threats, tools, and industry standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields (BE, BTech, MTech, BCA, MCA). - Industry-leading certifications in application security testing such as CEH, OSCP/SANS 25, LPT, CEPT, or equivalent.
