About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Application Packaging Engineer to create, test, and deploy application packages in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MSI/MSIX packaging, App-V, AdminStudio, SCCM/Intune, and automation scripting.

What You'll Do:

• Package, customize, and troubleshoot applications using tools such as MSIX, MSI, App-V, Intune Win32 packaging, SCCM, or equivalent.
• Create and maintain MSIX App Attach packages for Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Package and deliver applications for AWS WorkSpaces, AppStream 2.0, or EC2-based VDI.
• Validate application compatibility with Windows 10/11 multi-session and cloud VDI environments.
• Manage and deploy applications to Azure AVD host pools using MSIX App Attach, Intune, or SCCM.
• Configure and optimize application delivery for AWS WorkSpaces/AppStream.
• Maintain golden images, update catalogs, and ensure application performance in cloud VDI environments.
• Analyze software installation requirements and create MSI/MSIX/App-V packages using industry-standard tools.
• Perform silent installations, custom actions, transforms (MSTs), and wrapper scripts as needed.
• Conduct end-to-end application lifecycle management including packaging, UAT, deployment, and updates.
• Publish and distribute applications via SCCM, Intune, or other enterprise deployment systems.
• Handle package troubleshooting, dependency resolution, version upgrades, and rollback plans.
• Work closely with application owners and infrastructure teams for requirement gathering and testing.
• Follow enterprise packaging standards, documentation, and compliance guidelines.
• Automate repetitive packaging and deployment tasks using PowerShell, batch scripts, or other scripting languages.
• Ensure compatibility with Windows 10/11, security hardening, and corporate policies.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience in MSI/MSIX packaging, MST creation, and installer customization.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM, Intune, or other deployment tools.
• Good understanding of Windows registry, file systems, services, and GPO interactions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for installation failures, dependency issues, and logs (MSI logs, event logs).
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch) for automation and wrapper creation.
• Experience analyzing vendor installers, EXE repackaging, and handling complex installation scenarios.
• Strong experience with:
• MSI, MSIX, MSIX App Attach, App-V
• Azure AVD
• AWS WorkSpaces or AppStream
• Intune / MEM / SCCM
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS, registry, drivers, DLL dependencies, and application behavior.
• Experience troubleshooting application logs, installs, and user profile issues (FSLogix preferred).
• Familiarity with Azure AD, identity, RBAC, and cloud security best practices
