Job Description

Role Overview: You will lead the technology function supporting key institutional trading and business applications such as Flex, Greek, Omnesys, TCS, and other front-to-back systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Level 3 (L3) support, managing Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) support teams, ensuring uptime and performance of critical platforms, and facilitating regulatory and exchange-related approvals. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with business, operations, and external vendors to align technology solutions with institutional business goals. You will also have full ownership of Beginning-of-Day (BOD) and End-of-Day (EOD) application readiness and completion. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee application lifecycle and support for Flex, Greek, Omnesys, TCS, and other institutional systems. - Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and stability of platforms in alignment with business requirements. - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution, upgrades, and customizations. - Lead L3 support for critical incident handling and root cause analysis. - Supervise and mentor L1 and L2 support teams, ensuring efficient day-to-day operational support. - Establish and enforce SLAs for issue resolution and system availability. - Take end-to-end ownership of BOD and EOD processes, ensuring all systems are production-ready before market open and properly closed post-market. - Liaise with trading desks, compliance, and operations to translate business needs into technology solutions. - Manage exchange-related integrations, certifications, and regulatory approvals (e.g., from NSE, BSE, MCX & NCDX). - Prepare and review documentation required for audits and exchange reporting. - Build and manage a high-performing application support and development team. - Define team KPIs, provide performance feedback, and guide professional development. - Drive key IT projects, migrations, or deployments relevant to institutional business. - Implement change management processes and ensure minimal disruption to production systems. - Hands-on experience in Algo Trading. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 10+ years of experience in IT roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity. - Strong understanding of institutional trading platforms like Flex, Greek, Omnesys, and TCS. - Proven experience managing multi-tier support teams (L1, L2, L3). - Experience handling exchange approval processes and compliance in the capital markets domain. - NISM certificate-7 will add an advantage if you have. Key Skills: - Deep understanding of financial markets and institutional trading workflows. - Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL certification is a plus). - Strong analytical, communication, and vendor management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with tight deadlines. - Familiarity with FIX protocol, APIs, and order management systems.,
