Job Description — Application Engineer (Generator Division)

The Application Engineer (Generator Division) will be responsible for selection, sizing, and engineering of diesel engine–driven generator sets and all associated electrical components.

The role requires hands-on experience in diesel engines, alternators, control panel engineering, and project-specific technical documentation.

The selected engineers will work closely with the team, ensuring compliance with project specifications, consultant requirements, and international electrical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Select diesel engines, alternators, and generator accessories as per project specifications
• Perform generator sizing, load calculations, and alternator selection
• Prepare technical submittals, datasheets, and BOQs for generator packages
• Develop and review ATS/AMF control logic, protection schemes, and wiring diagrams
• Coordinate with the engineering team for clarifications and technical updates
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, SLDs, and panel schematics
• Ensure all documentation meets consultant and project requirements
• Deliver accurate engineering outputs within the required timeline

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of diesel generator systems, alternators, and control panels
• Knowledge of ATS/AMF panels, synchronization, and protection systems
• Ability to perform generator sizing and load analysis
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD (Electrical preferred)
• Ability to read and create SLDs and wiring diagrams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills (must coordinate with UAE team)
• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years relevant experience

Qualification:

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 year experience preferred

Work Schedule (Indian Time):

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM

1st & 3rd Saturdays: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
