Role & responsibilities Perform accurate sizing and selection of control valves using industry-standard and in-house software. Identify special requirements like severe service, low noise, anti-cavitation trims, and ensure compatibility with sizing outputs. Cross-check selected valve solutions with international standards (API, ASME, IEC, ISA) for compliance and performance assurance. Prepare detailed sizing reports with technical justifications and submit them along with quotations. Suggest alternate sizing/configuration options where customer specifications are vague or overly constrained. Evaluate the need for additional instruments or accessories based on control loop requirements. Support the Sales, Design, and Production teams with accurate valve sizing inputs to reduce rework and ensure deliverability.
