Application Engineer - Piping Hydraulics

As a Hydraulic Modeling Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and simulating 1D/2D equivalent hydraulic models of complex piping networks using tools like AFT Fathom, Pipe Flow, PipeNet, FlowNex, or equivalent. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing hydraulic sizing calculations for pipes, pumps, valves, reservoirs, and other components. - Interpreting and developing P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), flow schematics, and detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings. - Working on projects involving data centers, district cooling systems, secondary fluid systems, and other HVAC/process piping applications. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop optimized fluid network layouts and resolve technical challenges. - Supporting the team in piping stress analysis using software like Caesar II (preferred but not mandatory). - Generating engineering reports, simulation summaries, and technical documentation. - Ensuring design compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
