Application Engineer II

Your Responsibilities Include

• Design and develop code for our Microsoft technology-based business solutions using .NET VSTO for Applications (Excel, Access).
• Responsibility of the architecture, design, and implementation details of software applications and components

• Design and maintain robust, high-performance REST APIs utilizing .NET Core, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
• Manage and develop our Microsoft technology-based tools and databases.
• Identify and collect pain points in applications; discuss it with team and bring it forward to P&C architecture team.

You Should Bring the Following Skills & Experiences

• Proficiency in .NET, VBA, and Microsoft technologies, with hands-on experience in PowerShell, Office Interop, and COM Interop for desktop application development.
• Strong experience in .NET Core / .NET 5+ for building scalable REST APIs, including use of Entity Framework Core, OpenAPI/Swagger, API versioning, and security protocols such as JWT and OAuth2.
• Solid background in designing and maintaining SQL databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git for version control and automated deployments.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment, particularly using Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in modern software architecture using synchronous, asynchronous integration technologies using RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka, and other technologies
• Exposure to Java technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
