As a Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of web applications by utilizing your skills and experience in Performance Engineering. Your proficiency in testing methodologies such as soak, spike, and load testing will be essential in identifying performance bottlenecks and providing recommendations for optimization. Additionally, you will be required to have a strong understanding of front-end web performance best practices and be able to analyze performance metrics to make informed decisions. Your expertise in Java programming is crucial for this role, as you will be working with load testing tools like JMeter and conducting performance analysis using tools like Application Dynamics, Splunk, and StackDriver. Experience with Cloud technologies and an understanding of cloud architectures will also be beneficial in this role. In addition to your technical skills, you must have experience working with ticketing systems like Jira in an Agile development environment. Your knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, and NoSQL Database technologies will be essential for data analysis and troubleshooting performance issues. Furthermore, you should be a strong problem solver, capable of analyzing performance issues and providing effective solutions at both software and hardware levels. Your experience in .NFR gathering, workload modeling, and test plan preparation will be valuable in ensuring the performance optimization of web applications. Candidates with additional experience in GCP, Kubernetes, performance optimization of balancers, networks, operating systems, JMH framework, SQL optimization, performance testing of mobile applications, capacity planning, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GIT will be given preference.
