Project Role : Application Developer Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Must have skills : Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Key Responsibilities of Oracle Resource:1:Designing and developing PL/SQL code that meets business requirements and technical specifications. 2:Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and database administrators, to gather requirements, design, and implement solutions. 3:Writing and optimizing PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support application development and reporting needs. 4:Creating and maintaining PL/SQL documentation, including code comments, data dictionaries, and system architectures. 5:Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PL/SQL code, ensuring that they are accurate, reliable, and up-to-date. 6:Ensuring the quality and performance of PL/SQL code by implementing best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, and debugging. 7:Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers, ensuring that they follow established PL/SQL development practices. Technical Experience of Oracle Resource:1:Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming language, including its syntax, data types, control structures, and built-in functions. 2:Proficiency in PL/SQL programming constructs such as procedures, functions, packages, and triggers, and their respective features such as exception handling, cursor management, and dynamic SQL. 3:Knowledge of Oracle database management systems. 4:Understanding of Oracle database architecture and data modeling principles, and experience in designing and implementing database schemas using PL/SQL. 5:Experience in developing PL/SQL code for database maintenance tasks such as data migration, data cleansing, and data synchronization. 6:Familiarity with Oracle development tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, and PL/SQL Developer, and experience in using them for PL/SQL development and debugging. 7:Understanding of PL/SQL performance tuning techniques, including optimizing SQL queries, reducing context switches, and minimizing network overhead.
