Summary:As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing support and enhancements to existing applications while staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in application development. Skills:

- Lead the ABAP workstream for the S/4HANA upgrade/migration.- Perform custom code analysis (ATC / SCI) to assess ECC custom objects and remediate them for S/4HANA compatibility.- Optimize performance using HANA-native coding techniques (AMDPs, CDS Views, Open SQL, ABAP on HANA best practices).- Collaborate with functional teams to validate business-critical customizations and enhancements.- Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core strategy minimize customizations where standard functionality exists.- Drive code remediation, simplification list impact analysis, and testing for upgraded custom objects.- Mentor and guide offshore/onsite ABAP developers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.- Provide expertise on S/4HANA migration cockpit, BAPIs, OData services, Fiori integration where applicable.- Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities from a technical perspective.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in S/4HANA upgrade/migration projects (at least 2 end-to-end).- This position is based at our Pune office.- A 15 years full time education is required. Qualification 15 years full time education
