Educational Qualification :15 years full time educationTechnical exp:Technically skilled Tax Technology Analyst to support the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of third-party tax engines (such as AvaTax, Vertex, and Trippz). This role ensures accurate tax determination and Tax compliance across EG Pricing and Tax Compliance systems by working closely with Tax, Engineering, and Legal teams. Key Responsibilities:Configure and maintain tax determination systems using third-party tax engines (AvaTax, Vertex, Trippz).Manage and update tax content within external tax engines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with changing tax laws.Research, validate, and document tax rates and jurisdictional information to support company initiatives and tax compliance requirements.Collaborate with Engineering and Tax teams to address tax engine integration issues, particularly with transaction tax data systems.Debug and resolve API integration errors using data logs (XML/JSON), error codes, and database queries.Conduct routine audits of tax-related data including geocodes, addresses, jurisdiction assignments, and tax rates.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance cycles with data validation and troubleshooting.Test and validate key tax data inputs and outputs to ensure completeness and accuracy.Serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams on operational tax systems issues
