Job Description Appian QA/Test Engineer We are looking for a QA/Test Engineer with strong expertise in Appian BPM to join our team. This role goes beyond running test cases — you’ll help shape our testing approach, ensure end-to-end quality, and drive automation that speeds up delivery without compromising standards. What you’ll do Take ownership of building and maintaining test strategies that align with business and technical requirements in Appian applications. Translate functional and technical specifications into robust test scenarios. Validate Appian solutions through a mix of functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing. Automate repetitive test cases using Appian Designer and enhance existing suites for reliability and speed. Track and manage defects through Jira/TestRail, working closely with developers to drive fixes and confirm resolutions. Continuously look for ways to improve our QA practices — from methodology to tooling — with a focus on efficiency and early defect detection. Partner with stakeholders across product, business analysis, and development to share insights, highlight risks, and provide clear reporting on test outcomes. Keep documentation sharp: detailed test scripts, traceability from requirements, and execution results that support release confidence. What you’ll bring A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 2–3 years of hands-on QA or software testing experience, with a strong focus on Appian testing . Solid understanding of both manual and automated testing techniques. Proficiency with tools like Appian Designer , Jira, TestRail, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Ability to design and execute automated test suites tailored for Appian BPM environments. Strong knowledge of QA practices within Agile delivery models.
