The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 6 years of experience in manual and automation testing projects. You should possess a strong technical knowledge and understanding of functional system testing and UAT. Experience in Selenium and BDD framework, specifically using Cucumber, is required. Knowledge of API tools like Soap UI, Postman, and REST frameworks is essential. It would be advantageous to have familiarity with Appian technology. You should have a solid exposure to SDLC and Agile methodologies. Understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins and GitHub is necessary, and you should be able to implement them according to the Enterprise Technology Strategy in all projects. Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, ALM, and Confluence is a must. As a subject matter expert, you should have experience in troubleshooting performance issues, identifying bottlenecks, designing workload models, and executing performance tests. Excellent multitasking ability is required to effectively track multiple issues, manage time and priorities, and drive results through partner organizations. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting reviews and inspections of test deliverables, providing feedback to the team, and executing tests to track and monitor defects. You will also be expected to produce test metrics and reports to be shared with stakeholders. Test Automation and BDD adoption will be a key focus, with an emphasis on using Cucumber on top of Selenium. You will need to implement creative and innovative testing methods to meet project goals while maintaining quality standards. Providing suggestions and feedback to refine testing practices and methodologies will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you should be able to drive projects for value streams and support them comfortably, demonstrating an understanding of Agile concepts such as the SAFe or Scrum framework. Able to capture reusability for projects from a BST Automation perspective to showcase savings, you should also be capable of conducting performance testing and have expertise with tools like JMeter. Coordination with teams involved and providing support to all interfacing application systems impacted by the project will be essential.
