To conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, trend-right men's shirts, t-shirts, and trousers collections that align with the brands identity, market demand, and seasonal merchandising plans. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Design seasonal collections for mens shirts, t-shirts, and trousers. Develop mood boards, color palettes, fabric stories, and trims in line with global fashion trends and brand positioning. Ensure designs reflect commercial viability while maintaining a fresh and fashionable appeal. Trend Research & Forecasting: Conduct in-depth market and trend research (online, retail visits, international brands). Analyze trend forecasting reports (WGSN, Fashion Snoops, etc.) and interpret them into brand-relevant collections. Technical Design & Sampling: Create detailed tech packs with specifications, CADs, and design sheets. Work closely with the sampling team and vendors to ensure accurate execution of samples. Conduct fit sessions and give clear feedback for sample corrections. Fabric & Trim Selection: Collaborate with the sourcing team to select appropriate fabrics and trims. Ensure the right fabric qualities are aligned with seasonal requirements and pricing strategy. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with buyers, merchandisers, marketing, and sourcing teams to align design goals with business objectives. Ensure smooth handover from design to production. Calendar & Documentation Management: Adhere to the design and development calendar. Maintain and update design archives, sample libraries, and collection documentation. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong creative and aesthetic sense with a deep understanding of men’s wear market Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW; Excellent sketching and rendering skills (hand or digital) Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and fabric behavior Understanding of fit, pattern-making basics, and tech packs Ability to balance creativity with commercial acumen Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design / Apparel Design from a reputed institute 3–8 years of experience in men’s apparel design, specifically shirts, t-shirts, and trousers Experience in working with domestic and/or international brands, export houses, or retail companies Contact Person Sofiya Sayyed SG OASIS Interested candidates can share their resumes on sofiyaoasis@gmail.com
