About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced GCP Data Engineer (L3) who can manage and deliver end-to-end data solutions from various data sources to final business reports/dashboards.The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in GCP services and excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines on GCP.
• Work with GCS, BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow for data processing and orchestration.
• Handle data ingestion from various sources databases, APIs, streaming & batch systems.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, validation & quality checks.
• Optimize data pipelines for scalability & performance.
• Work closely with business teams and convert requirements into technical solutions.
• Create dashboards & reports using Looker Studio or similar BI tools.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and standardize best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and support production workloads.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong skills in Python & SQL.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCS, BigQuery, Dataflow).
• Experience with Airflow / Composer for workflow orchestration.
• Knowledge of Looker Studio / BI & reporting tools.
• Experience with data modeling & schema design.
• Good understanding of batch & streaming data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage end-to-end data lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
