Role & responsibilities Responsible for supervising daily operations of APL line, roll shop, Cold rolling mill, Annealing, pickling etc Ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and managing the team Supervising production processes, coordinating with other departments, and implementing improvements to optimize performance and minimize downtime Allocation of manpower, training, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Good in MS Office / Excel/PP etc. Supervising personnel, managing production schedules, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards Taking a key part in planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives within the roll shop Preferred candidate profile Candidate having experience to work on Cold rolling mill, Continuous Annealing line, Roll shop, pickling line production. Required Skills & Scope Mediation Product: Mediation Zone with Knowledge of offline and Online Mediation Database Knowledge - Oracle DB APL/UFDL ,Linux and SQL skills - ability to Design, make templates and design patterns Telco experience, familiarity with billing systems and network feeds preferable. Scope Develop low-level designs, update design templates, and maintain operational documents for mediation services. Design mediation workflows, adhere to standards, and determine business logic/data validation rules. Provide design review walk-throughs to stakeholders. Act as the point of contact for the development team on mediation services. Support the testing team by resolving design queries, reviewing test plans, and test results for various testing events (UAT, FAT). Creating acceptance criteria as part of the requirements document. These criteria help developers and testers create test cases and validate the outputs against business requirements. Job Location - Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon Exp - 4 to 10 Years 1. Core Technical Skills: Proficiency in APL syntax and idioms Extensive use of symbols, operators, and tacit programming Strong understanding of array programming paradigms Familiarity with different APL dialects (e.g., Dyalog APL, APL2) Algorithmic Thinking and Vectorized Logic Design of complex algorithms using concise expressions Efficient use of multi-dimensional arrays and matrices Functional Programming Concepts 2. Tools & Platforms: APL Development Environments: Dyalog APL, APL2, GNU APL Use of IDEs with APL support and debugging capabilities Version Control & Documentation Tools: Git, Markdown, literate programming for APL scripts Strong emphasis on writing clear documentation due to terse syntax 3. Domain-Specific Expertise (common in APL use): Quantitative Finance & Risk Modeling Scientific Computing / Research Simulations Data Analytics & Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) 4. Interoperability & Integration: Interfacing APL with Other Languages and Systems Knowledge of calling external libraries or linking with Python, R, C# Use of COM/.NET or REST APIs in Dyalog APL 5.
