Technical Skills / Qualifications Required: - 6 to 10 years of robust QA expertise. - Proficient understanding and experience in Agile test automation frameworks and approaches. - Experience with Playwright is essential. - Proficiency in UI Automation is a necessity. - Experience in testing APIs (Rest & Soap protocols) and practical experience in API automation framework. - Knowledge and experience in testing REST APIs and automating API regression test cases using tools like Rest Assured, Ready API, Karate Soap UI & Postman, etc. - Extensive experience in creating automation frameworks using Cucumber, Selenium, or similar tools. - Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify the root causes of identified issues. - Mandatory knowledge & experience with the JIRA tool. - Design, execute, and analyze automation test scripts and test results. - Work experience in designing automation frameworks for microservices-based applications. - Hands-on experience in designing and implementing continuous testing and integration with CI/CD pipelines. - Good experience in Database and SQL. - Experience in preparing Test Plan, Test Case, and Test Data. - Experience in Regression, functional, smoke, integration & sanity testing. - Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and automated testing for current systems and new systems under development. - Profound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Testing life cycle. Other Skills Required: - Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and debugging skills. - Excellent communication skills. - 6+ years of experience in Test Automation. You will be joining Pentair as an IoT Application QA Engineer for IoT projects in the Smart Products & IoT Strategic Innovation Centre in India team based in Noida. Your primary responsibility will be to drive testing activities for IoT projects within a business unit. Your duties and responsibilities will include defining the testing strategy for IoT applications, testing using IoT device simulator, writing and executing test cases for various areas of IoT applications such as Cloud Server Side / API, Web Application, Mobile App (iOS & Android), and Integration with Enterprise systems. You will also be involved in test automation of API, mobile, and web applications. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. You must have 3-5 years of experience in testing, including at least 1 year of experience in Smart IoT/Embedded Products. Your experience should encompass Validation & Verification of Software by conducting various types of testing including Smoke testing, Sanity testing, Black box testing, System testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Functional/Non-functional testing. Experience in all stages of Software testing, including Requirement gathering, Requirement Traceability matrix, and Preparation of Test plan, Test case, Test Bed setup, Test Scripts & Defect tracking using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, and Confluence is required. You should also have experience in APIs testing using Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, as well as in mapping business requirements into test specification, designing test cost estimations, and preparing test scope & approach. Additionally, you should have experience in the complete Software testing life cycle by performing end-to-end call flow for test deliverables through SDLC. Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile process, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), project planning, tracking, monitoring, and risk management is preferred. Experience in designing and building automated test frameworks for web & mobile applications using automation tools & frameworks like Selenium with Java/C#, Appium, and Test project will be an advantage. Good to have experience in AWS Cloud environment and Load & Performance testing using Jmeter for large applications. Hands-on experience with source code control tools like Git/SVN and documentation tools such as Confluence and Wiki is also beneficial.
