The MasterCard B&MI Technology development team is dedicated to leveraging new and innovative technologies to create business solutions that maintain Mastercard's position as a leader in delivering value-added business analytics and reporting solutions to our diverse customer base. Collaborating with product partners and technical teams, you will play a key role in enhancing existing products and introducing new offerings to the global market. We are currently looking for candidates who can propose and design scalable solutions for our products. Your responsibilities will include designing secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for globally distributed customer-facing products. You will also lead and mentor junior team members, support agile development practices, and contribute to the technology strategy for Operational insights products. Engaging with various technical teams, you will research, create, and evaluate technical solutions using current and upcoming technologies and frameworks. In this role, you will work with technologies such as Java, J2EE, microservices, RESTful APIs, Angular, Web Services, JavaScript, Docker, and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. Additionally, you will utilize UI/UX frameworks, API tooling, Cloud and DevOps architecture, and various databases and tools to support product development. The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, along with relevant work experience. You should have a solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies, coupled with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. Strong communication skills and experience in designing and deploying Java webservices are essential for success in this role. Beneficial experiences include familiarity with standard and regulatory compliance, agile development practices, and exposure to trending technologies like AI/ML, IOT, Bot, and Quantum Computing.
