As a Zendesk Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining systems and solutions that control access to the organization's resources, sensitive information, and data. Your primary goal in this role is to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to these resources while preventing unauthorized users from gaining entry. On a daily basis, you will manage and monitor Identity management tools and Public Cloud tooling such as MFA, Security Token, OAUTH, AWS, Okta, Atlassian, and BigFix. You will maintain appropriate configurations and access policies, administer IAM related SaaS applications, gather requirements for establishing an Okta Identity platform, review updates and features of Okta, define and enforce business process strategy, manage app integration requests, proactively identify and resolve IAM lifecycle management issues, work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, maintain and review existing processes, update IAM documentation, and translate requests from Business partners into Jira Stories and Epics. To excel in this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience in an IT Operations role or educational equivalent, a strong understanding of Okta for group and user management, working knowledge of Cloud Authentication and Access management Services, identity management and security policy concepts, protocols, and best practices, hands-on experience integrating applications with Okta SSO, and the ability to present SSO concepts to stakeholders with varying technical understanding. Preferred qualifications include Okta Certified Administrator or higher certification. This role requires candidates to be physically located and plan to work from Karnataka or Maharashtra.
