API Automation Testing

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled API Automation Test Engineer with expertise in TypeScript coding and a strong background in API and WebSocket testing. The ideal candidate should have a passion for ensuring the reliability of complex, real-time applications through automated testing frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain robust API and WebSocket automation test suites using TypeScript. - Collaborate closely with developers to implement reliable and scalable test frameworks across the entire SDLC. - Design and execute test cases for REST APIs, real-time WebSocket communication, and AI-integrated services. - Utilize the JEST framework for writing unit and integration tests. - Investigate, debug, and resolve issues by identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes. - Work with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills And Experience: - 6 to 9 years of QA/testing experience with a strong foundation in TypeScript programming. - Hands-on experience in WebSocket testing and REST API validation. - Proficiency in designing and implementing API automation frameworks. - Solid familiarity with the JEST testing framework for JavaScript/TypeScript. - Knowledge of AI-based testing tools and approaches is preferred but not mandatory. - Understanding of version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
