Job Description

In this role as an API Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of APIs through rigorous automated testing. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Perform Automation Testing using Java RestAssured. - Conduct API testing using Postman. - Develop and maintain test scripts following BDD or TDD methodologies. - Utilize Cucumber or similar frameworks that support BDD. - Work with Jenkins and Maven for automation execution. - Validate JSON files and ensure structured data testing. - Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation. - Conduct manual testing where necessary to complement automation efforts. - Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr for tracking and reporting. - Implement best practices in Object-Oriented Programming (Java). - Follow Agile methodologies for efficient process management. - Adhere to software testing principles and methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives.
