Job Description

Develop and execute automated test scripts for APIs and web applications , ensuring robust test coverage. Leverage strong Java programming skills to write, optimize, and maintain automated tests. Utilize database knowledge to interact with, verify, and validate backend data during testing. Implement service virtualization using tools like Mountebank or WireMock to mock API and service interactions. Conduct end-to-end API testing and web automation to ensure functionality, performance, and security meet business requirements. Troubleshoot and debug test failures, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. Maintain comprehensive test documentation and contribute to improving test strategies. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of testing requirements, status, and results. Required Skills: Strong API automation experience, including hands-on knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Strong web automation experience with tools like Selenium or similar. Proficiency in Java programming for writing automation scripts. Solid database knowledge , including working with relational and non-relational databases for validation and testing. Hands-on experience with service virtualization using Mountebank or WireMock to mock and simulate service dependencies. Excellent communication skills , with the ability to clearly articulate testing issues and resolutions to non-technical stakeholders. Good to Have Skills: Experience in CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests in the DevOps process. Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools and platforms. Experience with performance testing and security testing automation.
