Role & responsibilities Design and develop ASME-compliant pressure vessels and cryogenic tanks (Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Oxygen, LNG, Ehane, Hydrogen and Ammonia). Perform storage tanks, pressure vessels and Cryogenic tank designs per API 650 , 620 , 653, ASME Codes. Design of cryogenic tanks include outer tank, Inner tank, Insulation, Thermal corner protections, Roof plates, roof platforms, pipe supports, anchors etc. Perform structural analysis and stress calculations for pressure vessels and Cryo tanks using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools like Ansys etc. Perform vessel designs using PV Elite, Compress softwares. Check detailed engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and specifications using CAD software. Ensure all designs meet ASME, API, and other relevant international standards. Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements in the pressure vessel and cryogenic tank industry. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors , masters degree or PhD in mechanical engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing Storage tanks, pressure vessels, and cryogenic tanks. Strong proficiency in FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent software. Experience with CAD software for checking the drawings. Knowledge of material selection, welding techniques, and fabrication processes for pressure vessels and Cryogenic tanks. Understanding of industry codes and regulations such as ASME, API 650/620 Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
