Job Description Mechanical engineer with 3-8 years of experience in the field of stress analysis. Expertise in structural analysis (static, non-linear, transient, and seismic) and thermal analysis (steady-state and transient) using ANSYS Classic and WB. Good exposure to Ansys Design-modeler or Space-claim to generate the 2D/3D model for the FE analysis. Expertise in ANSYS APDL to develop or modify the macros. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation, with the ability to solve complex engineering problems. Key Responsibilities: Perform meshing and pre-processing using Hypermesh for structural and thermal analysis. Develop and execute finite element models in Ansys APDL for static, dynamic, and nonlinear simulations. Optimize designs based on simulation results and provide technical recommendations. Validate and correlate simulation results with physical test data. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve product performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in CAE, specializing in Hypermesh and Ansys APDL . Strong understanding of FEA principles, material modeling, and boundary conditions . Experience in performing strength assessment as per ASME BPV Sec VIII Code. Experience in Rotor dynamics is an added advantage.
